PEC to Award Scholarships This Spring!

Students Encouraged to Apply by March 12

For our 26th year, PEC is proud to support continued education in Central Texas through our scholarship program.

High school students who are graduating through public, private, or homeschooled education, and are looking to pursue a college, technical school, or trade school degree can apply. PEC encourages the lifelong journey of learning, which is why we also offer this opportunity to adults seeking to further their education.

Applicants must either be PEC members in good standing or graduating seniors with a parent or guardian who is a PEC member in good standing.

“Receiving a scholarship from PEC has been a life-changing gift, helping to lift the financial burden of my education and allowing me to focus wholeheartedly on my studies and personal growth,” said 2024 PEC scholarship recipient Kambell Stewart of Marble Falls. She is currently studying at Texas A&M.

The scholarships we provide to students in our service area are funded by unclaimed property returned to PEC by the state.

Applications open February 3. The deadline to apply is 11:59 p.m. on March 12.
