(JOHNSON CITY, Texas) April 15, 2025 — Pedernales Electric Cooperative, Inc. (PEC) is proud to announce it has earned the 2025 Top Workplaces USA award issued by USA Today. PEC was recognized as a top place to work among midsize companies with fewer than 1,000 employees. This award celebrates nationally recognized companies that prioritize a people-centered culture and give employees a voice. More than 42,000 organizations were invited to participate in the Top Workplaces survey, and PEC was selected based solely on employee feedback gathered through an internal engagement survey.

This award comes on the heels of PEC receiving a Top Workplace industry award in July of 2024 as a national employer in energy and utilities. Winners of Top Workplace awards are selected based solely on feedback gathered through an anonymous employee survey administered by an outside, third-party firm.
