Help Us Recognize the Best Educators in Central Texas

Teacher Spotlight Nominations Open Until April 25

Most of us can remember one teacher from our childhood who made a lasting impact — not just during a school year but throughout our lives. These dedicated teachers work tirelessly to help students succeed, building both knowledge and confidence that will carry them through life. At PEC, we want to shine a light on these educational heroes, but we need your help.

For the second year in a row, we’re recognizing outstanding educators through our Teacher Spotlight Program. If you know a teacher that has made a difference, nominate them at myPEC.com/teacher-spotlight. Nominations are open and will close April 25.

After reviewing nominations, we’ll select teachers from across our service territory who will receive awards for their dedication. Winners will be announced in May, and PEC representatives will visit their schools to present them with a thank-you basket filled with materials to support classroom learning.

“The care and guidance of an outstanding teacher is something you never forget,” PEC Community Outreach Specialist Kevyn Packer said. “If you’ve been looking for a way to recognize someone who has made a lifelong impact, this is the perfect opportunity.”
