Cooperative Recognized as a National Employer of Choice in Energy & Utilities
(JOHNSON CITY, Texas) July 25, 2024 — Pedernales Electric Cooperative has been designated as a national 2024 Industry Top Workplace in Energy & Utilities. This award celebrates organizations that have built a people-first workplace culture within their sector and highlights PEC as an employer of choice within the industry.

Winners were selected based solely on feedback gathered through an anonymous employee survey administered by an outside, third-party firm. The survey results showed that employees are engaged in the Cooperative’s core mission and values and believe that PEC is a great place to work.
