We live in a time when computers and smartphones are part of everyone’s daily lives. We use them to surf the web, communicate with friends and family, map out directions, and even store payment information. PEC knows this information is valuable, which is why we are committed to protecting you through secure payment options that never sell your data. But you must also protect yourself. Here are a few ways you can do so:

  • Use complex and unique passwords, including for your online PEC account.
  • Be sure not to reuse passwords for multiple accounts.
  • Confirm the identity of those claiming to be PEC employees by asking to see their
  • credentials or by calling us at 888-554-4732.
  • Keep your computer, phone, and antivirus software up to date.
  • Use two-factor authentication whenever possible for extra account security.
  • Be aware of suspicious links in emails and text messages.
