Your Change Helps Your Neighbors in Times of Need

Power of Change Donations Help Fund Our Member Assistance Program

This Thanksgiving and throughout the year, the change you give to PEC’s Power of Change Program can make a powerful impact by helping your neighbors in need.

“We all need a little help sometimes,” said Kelcee Smith, who oversees the PEC Member Assistance Program. “It’s amazing to see how a little pocket change can make a huge difference for some of our members in need. We are always so grateful to our members who donate to the Power of Change and proud to see what can be done when we work together.”

Join the Power of Change
The Power of Change Program funds the Member Assistance Program and provides grants to nonprofits in your community. These grants help fund projects that further their missions and make the Hill Country a better home for all.

It’s only about $6 a year for the average member. But since 2016, those donations have added up to empower volunteer fire departments, senior centers, pet adoption groups, and so much more.

“It’s only around 50 cents a month, but just rounding up your bill can make a huge difference for some of our members,” Smith said.

It also helps us provide resources to education foundations that equip local students and teachers with the tools they need to brighten the future for our youngest members and their communities.
