Visit PEC’s booth at Founders Day in Dripping Springs

Co-op to meet with members, provide information, and giveaways

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

(DRIPPING SPRINGS, Texas) April 23, 2024 — Pedernales Electric Cooperative (PEC) is proud to sponsor the 35th Annual Founders Day Festival in Dripping Springs, taking place Friday, April 26 through Sunday, April 28. Founded and rooted in community, PEC has provided safe and reliable power to its members and communities in the Texas Hill Country for more than 86 years. Today, PEC continues to invest in programs that help keep its communities strong and bright.

To meet its members where they are, PEC will be taking part in Founders Day festivities, beginning with the grand parade on Friday at 6:30 p.m., where PEC’s bucket truck and staff will make their way down Mercer Street with giveaways and candy. Members are encouraged to stop by PEC’s booth during the festival to meet with co-op employees, sign up for prizes, and learn about PEC’s various programs. Employees will be sharing information about PEC’s Camp Save-a-Watt™, a free online summer camp and Power of Change Program where members can opt to round up their bills to the nearest dollar to benefit non-profits in their community. Members who choose to sign up for PEC’s Power of Change Program will also be entered into a drawing for a chance to win one of five YETI coolers.

More information on PEC’s Power of Change Program is available at pec.coop/change.
