Report Your Outage Easily by Text

Text ‘OUTAGE’ to 25022 to Let Us Know When You Lose Power

By texting “OUTAGE” to 25022 from the phone number associated with your account, you can easily let us know when your electricity goes out. Please only text “OUTAGE” to this number when you have an outage to report.

If you’re unsure if your mobile number has been added to your account, call us at 888-554-4732 or follow these three easy steps online:

  • Log in or sign up for access to your account.
  • From the left navigation, select ‘Settings’ and then ‘Contact Information’ to confirm or change your mobile phone number.
  • Select an effective date and click ‘Save’ when you’ve made changes. That’s it!

If you have previously opted out of texts from PEC, text “enroll” to 25022 to re-enroll. It may take up to two business days for phone number changes to appear in SmartHub.

Want to add multiple mobile numbers to your account? Call us at 888-554-4732. If you have more than one account or meter associated with the same contact number, you need to report outages online from our website, by logging into your account, or by calling 888-883-3379.
