Power your child’s education forward with Camp Save-a-Watt

Summer camp focuses on electrical safety, energy conservation

Enrollment has opened for Camp Save-a-Watt™! Your child can join PEC and Wattson Raccoon for a free, fun-filled summer of activities focused on electrical safety, energy conservation, and nature exploration. The virtual camp also features in-person activities, like our solar car derby and the chance to meet a lineworker!

The camp was a big success in 2023, as 425 little campers between kindergarten and third grade joined the fun. In 2024, we are expanding Camp Save-a-Watt to include fourth and fifth graders. Also new for this year, little campers will get to participate in crafts and games and will be provided additional educational resources.

“We are so excited to show what we have in store for Camp Save-a-Watt in 2024,” said Community Relations Manager Celeste Mikeska. “This camp is always a hit, and we are proud to use it to educate our future leaders about the energy industry.”

Enrollment for Camp Save-a-Watt runs through May 31, and the virtual camp begins June 3. To learn more and register, visit pec.coop/camp.
