PEC’s Power Player Award recognizes students who exemplify sportsmanship and the cooperative difference by exhibiting leadership, dedication to their craft, and concern for community. As the nation’s largest member owned electric distribution cooperative, PEC is member focused and places a high priority on community giving through grants, scholarships, youth programs, appreciation events, and more.
PEC’s 2025 Power Player Award winners include:
- Hannah Griffin, sophomore, varsity volleyball player at Liberty Hill High School
- Landry Meyer, senior, varsity volleyball player at Blanco High School
- Crawford Mattox, sophomore, varsity football player at Marble Falls High School
- Sabian Sifuentes, senior, varsity cross country runner at Moe & Gene Johnson High School in Buda

To be eligible, a student must:
- Be a high school student (9-12th grade).
- Attend a school within or surrounded by the PEC service area.
