Local High School Students Invited to Apply for Youth Tour

High schoolers in PEC’s service area have an opportunity to be a part of a once-in-a-lifetime trip to Washington, D.C., next summer.

Apply before 11:59 p.m. on

Tuesday, November 12, to be a part of the 1,500 students nationwide who attend this all-expenses-paid adventure, and get a chance to tour historical sites, meet local representatives, learn more about local and national government, and make lifelong friendships.

PEC 2024 delegate Jake McAnelly encouraged students to apply, noting they have nothing to lose and everything to gain.

“This experience solidified my eagerness to participate in a future career in government,” McAnelly said. “It truly was an opportunity of a lifetime.”

Our selected delegate orientation will take place Sunday, February 9, 2025, and tour dates will be June 15-22, 2025. Apply today at myPEC.com/youth-tour.
