Add your contact information
Add your mobile number to your PEC account, and you’ll be able to report outages and receive updates by text. We’ll send messages when it’s important, like during an emergency or when an outage is planned at your location. You may opt out at any time.
- Log in or sign up for access to your account at pec.smarthub.coop.
- From the left navigation, select ‘Settings’ and then ‘Contact Information’ to confirm or change your mobile phone number.
- Select an effective date and click ‘Save’ when you’ve made your changes. That’s it!

To report an outage, simply text “outage” to 25022. Message and data rates may apply.
